PROPOSED ADDITION OF PLAYGROUND, COMMUNAL GARDENS, FITNESS AREAS AND AMPHITHEATRE LAWN AT CHOA CHU KANG DRIVE
This project is one of the three lifestyle corridor projects below Yew Tee MRT viaduct. It includes an amphitheatre lawn, sensory garden, jogging track, 2 playgrounds and 2 fitness corners. The site is located within the first reserve of the railway line and the construction process required more procedures to avoid the surrounding MRT viaduct and infrastructure.
The elliptical configuration of the playground and fitness corners beneath the MRT viaducts, combined with the sloping terrain, required careful coordination between playground safety clearances and the gradient requirements of the surrounding jogging track.
The curved and meandering elements of the project also requires precision and meticulous workmanship.
